Video Chat Between Mac, iPhone and iPod
Videoconferencing’s hardly a new concept for desktop users, but Apple’s new FaceTime for Mac adds the option to seamlessly video chat with iOS devices. For just $0.99, you can conduct video calls between the Mac, iPhone 4 and iPod touch in 720p high-definition.
The system supports full screen display, so you can cram the entire family or a full cadre of friends around a 27-inch monitor for group chats. You can tap into existing address book contacts, and have calls ring through multiple computers. The drunk dials suddenly takes on new dimensions of horror.
