Personal Quotes

Up until I was 12 my sisters
utilized to dress me up as a girl and introduce me as 'Claudia'! Twelve was a turning point as I moved to a mixed school and then I became cool and discovered hair gel.
It's strange, somebody asked for my autograph the other day. Since I finished school and I'm not really performing anything at the moment, I was just kind of aimlessly wandering around London and these two guys who were about 30 came up and asked for my autograph. I was really really proud at the time, and they wanted to take photos and stuff. And then they had been sort of wandering around and I was type of wandering around and I bumped into them about three times, and each and every single time their respect for me kept growing and growing and growing.

They [Barnes Theatre Club]
had been a extremely great group, and for some reason when I finished the backstage factor, I just decided to that I ought to attempt to act. So I auditioned for Guys and Dolls and got a bit tiny part as some Cuban dancer or something and then inside the next play I got the lead component, and then I got my agent. So I owe every thing to that little club.

I aspire to be Jack Nicholson. I
really like his each and every single mannerism. I employed to try and be him in virtually every thing I did, I do not know why. I watched 1 Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) when I was about 13, and I dressed like him. I tried to do his accent. I did everything like him. I believe it kind of stuck with me.

The day
prior to [the Harry Potter London premiere] I was just sitting in Leicester Square, happily being ignored by everybody. Then suddenly strangers are screaming your name. Wonderful.

I went to
one of these signing conventions. [in '06] It was one of the most intriguing experiences I've had. It was so strange that individuals would pay for autographs. You maintain thinking you need to do a bit dance for them as well or something.
I have been playing the piano for my whole life - since I was three or four. And also the guitar - I used to play classical guitar from when I was about five to 12 years of age. Then I didn't play guitar for like years. About four or five years ago, I got out the guitar again and just started playing blues and stuff. I'm not extremely excellent at the guitar, but I am all proper. I'm in a band in London as well.

My favorite teacher was
almost certainly my English teacher due to the fact she got me into writing instead of just answering the question. I used to hand in homework with 20 pages of nonsense and she'd still mark it. She was a truly incredible teacher.

I didn't
need to get stuck in fairly, public school roles, or I knew I'd wind up as some sort of caricature. Playing Dali has been a complete turning point for me. It's the first part I've had that has required really serious thought. I became entirely obsessed with Dali throughout the filming, and I read every single biography I could get a hold of. He was probably the most bizarre, complicated man, but within the end I felt I could relate to him. He was essentially incredibly shy.

I wasn't at all focused on school, and I didn't
accomplish much. But I've got a sense of urgency now. I feel I can't let any much more time waste away.

Twilight (2008/I)
is a metaphor for the virtues of chastity, but it is had the opposite effect. I get letters that say "I'm going to kill myself should you do not watch High School Musical 2 (2007) (TV) with me". It's just a little nuts.
Every thing has grow to be a lot more intense for six months, considering that 'Twilight' was released. It's difficult to manage what's happening to me. I don't have the essential hindsight, even if only to uncover a way out to this situation. But this celebrity thing, you can't fight it, it is useless, you can't avoid it. When it's not some thing you desired throughout your whole life, or something you don't aspire to, you are no cost not to care about it. I didn't sign for Disney. There's not a stipulation which forces me to smile to the paparazzi.
Sometimes I think, 'to hell with acting,' and then I recognize I could possibly be working at a shoe shop. Acting is much cooler.

Please
don't give me all my luck now. Make it all stretch. I do not mind waiting. Make it stretch for 70 years.

When I was 14, I fronted a rap trio.
Pretty hard-core for three private school children from suburban London. And my mum's, like, cramping our style, popping her head in to ask, 'You boys want a sandwich?'

My old agent
utilised to promote me as the male Keira Knightley. (Laughs) I thought: 'Well, what does that say about me exactly?' Do I pout a whole lot or some thing?

I went to
one of these signing conventions in '06. It was one of the most intriguing experiences I've had. It was so strange that individuals would pay for autographs. You maintain thinking you should do a bit dance for them as well or something.

American Idol' sends residence first finalist

American Idol' sends residence first finalist

LOS ANGELES - "American Idol" viewers didn't tell Ashthon Jones they loved her.

The silky smooth 24-year-old retail manager from Nashville, Tenn., on Thursday was revealed to have the fewest viewer votes on the Fox talent competition.

The judges decided not to save Jones
right after her performance of Diana Ross' "When You Tell Me That You Love Me." Jones said just before her dismissal that she regretted not choosing a far more common Ross tune.

"I was rooting for you, baby," Jennifer Lopez told a weeping Jones.

Joining Jones as the bottom
three vote-getters had been 21-year-old college student Karen Rodriguez of New York and 20-year-old college student Haley Reinhart of Wheeling, Ill. Randy Jackson dubbed their respective Wednesday performances of Selena's "I Could Fall In Love" and LeAnn Rimes' "Blue" as sleepy, and he criticized Reinhart's lack of direction.

"Find your lane," Jackson advised.

Casey Abrams, the 20-year-old film camp counselor from Idyllwild, Calif., delivered an energetic take on Joe Cocker's rendition of "With
a bit Aid From My Friends" during Wednesday's performance episode. He earned enough votes to move on in the competition, but he missed out on the results since he was hospitalized, "Idol" host Ryan Seacrest said.

"You'll notice that Casey is missing from the group. He is
regrettably sick and in the hospital right now," Seacrest said

He didn't elaborate on Abrams' condition, and Fox had no
additional comment on the matter.

The other finalists remaining
within the competition are Naima Adedapo, 26, of Milwaukee; Lauren Alaina, 16, of Rossville, Ga.; James Durbin, 22, of Santa Cruz, Calif.; Stefano Langone, 21, of Kent, Wash.; Jacob Lusk, 23, of Compton, Calif.; Scotty McCreery, 17, of Garner, N.C.; Paul McDonald, 26, of Nashville, Tenn.; Thia Megia, 16, of Mountain House, Calif.; and Pia Toscano, 22, of Howard Beach, N.Y.

"I put my singing videos from the competition on YouTube to ensure that my pals and loved ones could watch them," he stated. Let's Just Call This Disappointment TV

aghifaris.blogspot.com

Let's just call this disappointment tv

Oh, "Dancing With the Stars," Piers Morgan and superhero movies, how you disappoint

Not that any main network series, talk-show personalities or big-budget Hollywood productions are waiting by the phone to see what I feel.

But what is life with out a bit griping over minor letdowns? Some of the current leaders on this week's top-40 pop culture disappointment chart incorporate:

"Dancing With the Stars." ABC has announced a new cast that's nowhere near as fun as the one you had been anticipating. "Karate Kid" Ralph Macchio, sitcom veteran Kirstie Alley, boxing champ Sugar Ray Leonard and daytime diva Wendy Williams could be intriguing. But Los Angeles DJ Psycho Mike, reality star Kendra Wilkinson and Disney Channel star Chelsea Kane? And a few other people who seem to lack the prospective for Kristi Yamaguchi perfection or Kate Gosselin wackiness? What if they

away a disco ball trophy and nobody cared

Piers Morgan. Too arch. Too self-absorbed. Too delighted with his own cleverness. Sorry, but CNN's new host has me missing the abruptly barked questions and preparation-free approach of Larry King.

Network and cable news coverage of Charlie Sheen. There has been a lengthy line of gawkers at the sad, outrageous saga of the "Two and a Half Men" star. ABC's "20/20" special, NBC's "Today" and "Piers Morgan Tonight" aired interviews, although other people replayed Sheen's comments about tiger blood, Adonis DNA, the goddesses and so on. Regardless of how much it is argued that this story is about addiction, a power struggle over a hit show or the pitfalls of too a lot fame and income, it is genuinely just about exploiting Sheen's woes. And it is working: The "20/20" Sheen interview earned comparatively good ratings. What the networks aren't performing, credibility-wise: winning.

British superhero invasion. Inside the newest example of outsourcing, British actor Henry Cavill will play Superman on the big screen. With Christian Bale as Batman and Andrew Garfield of "The Social Network" as the new Spider-Man, that means 3 guys with ties to our ally across the pond are portraying the Massive Three of comic book crusaders, caped or otherwise. Possibly they should have just gotten Russell Brand to play Captain America.

Joan Rivers. Longtime Television viewers of the "Fashion Police" specials used to enjoy her snarky jokes and smart critiques. But now that the show can be a Friday night normal on E!, it's fundamentally Rivers delivering vulgar, over-the-top remarks and her cohosts guffawing and gasping in appalled awe. Can we talk, Joan? Bring back your far more sophisticated fashionista opinions

conan." I'm not blaming the beard. I'm just saying there is something about Conan O'Brien's new TBS show that doesn't have the magic of his NBC late, late format or his indignant final episodes on the "Tonight" show. And, no, Conan attempting on a pair of jeggings does not count as comedy innovation.

James Franco. He didn't deserve all the Franco bashing that erupted after the Oscars. But it's still a bummer that he wasn't nearly as funny as a cohost as he was inside the "127 Hours" scene where, even though trapped in a crevice, he pretends to be both a talk-show host and a hapless guest.

"American Idol." Based on what I've seen of the new, improved "Idol," Randy Jackson and newbie judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler are handing out encouragement like Tony Robbins at a self-improvement convention. The other night, J. Lo was comparing a person to the legendary Luther Vandross and said, 'He's gone, but now we have you." And this was throughout the semifinals for the guys. You'll find a lot of weeks and compliments to go. Man, do I miss Simon Cowell's mean streak.

Jennifer Lopez "On the Floor" Music Video

Jennifer Lopez "On the Floor" Music Video

debuted her sexy new video for "On The Floor" on American Idol on Wednesday night, after giving fans the chance to vote on one of three video ending options.

It's hard to believe J.Lo is 41 years old with twins because her body is absolutely amazing! She shows off her fab abs in a low cut top in the video and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous.

For the most part the video is fun and catchy, but what's with every single music video being a commercial lately?!?

Britney's video is a 3-minute commercial for Sony TV's and J.Lo's is all about Swarovski Crystals and Crown Royal. Be an artist, not a sellout.

Kim Kardashian Premieres Her Pop Song :Videos

Kim Kardashian Premieres Her Pop Song :Videos

Well, it was only a matter of time. Paris Hilton did it, after all. So did Lindsay Lohan (and LiLo's sister, Ali Lohan), Heidi Montag, Brooke Hogan, Kelly Osbourne, The Situation, and a couple of Gossip Girls and Real Housewives. So now tabloid-courting E! reality starlet Kim Kardashian has naturally recorded her own pop song. I'm actually surprised it took her this long.

No, it's not a cover of Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back"...although that would have been awesome, of course. It's also not "Shake"--the presumed original full title of which must have included the parenthetical prefix "(Do Fries Come With That?)"--which "leaked" online last November and was initially mistaken by the entire Interweb to be Kim's rumored first single.

But the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" bombshell, known more for her big curves and big hair than for any sort of big singing voice, has recorded a song perhaps misleadingly titled called "Jam (Turn It Up)." So...is it any good? In a word, no. In two words, HECK no. More like "Turn It Down," I say. It basically makes Paris Hilton's "Stars Are Blind" warbling like something by Janis Joplin, and could probably even make Heidi Montag cringe (if Heidi was actually facially capable of cringing, that is).

The song was recorded with The-Dream, whose Love King was one of 2010's most critically lauded R&B albums and whose writing and production work for other artists includes Beyonce's "Single Ladies," Rihanna's "Umbrella," Mary J. Blige's "Just Fine," and Mariah Carey's "Touch My Body." But sadly, it seems like Kim just dragged The-Dream down to her nightmarish level. He really should have known better.

The journalists and bloggers who were so quick to praise Love King aren't being so kind when it comes to The-Dream's latest pet project. Popdust wrote that "the heavily flanged Kardashian sounds barely engaged with her own song." Crushable declared the single "laughably bad and nearly unlistenable." And Neon Limelight said: "What really kills the song are the horrid vocals. Kim coos through the song lifelessly singing about taking shots and dancing the night away at her favorite spot. Is this club filled with zombies? They're the only creatures she's courting with that monotonous tone."

So what exactly is Kim cooing about? Well, the not-exactly Dylanesque chorus basically goes something like this (give or take a few "yeahs"): "Turn me up, turn me up, turn me turn me turn me up/Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah." Catchy, huh?

Other sample lyrics include:

"I'm going out tonight, it's going down/Headed straight to the front of the line, on the fly/On the floor I can't stand still/And I'm goin' to work like I'm paying my bills."

"Rosé up in the air/Feeling good, feeling great, just got paid."

"DJ here I am/Feeling good, feeling great, just got paid."

"Girls in the building/Fellas in the club/Boys spending money/Girls looking good."

Who Were The Biggest Celebrities of In 2011?

Celebrity  one-stops
Who Were the Biggest Celebrities of February 2011?

Celebrity  one - stops   are PopEater's way of highlighting your five favorite celebrities every month. According to you, most awesome readers, February's biggest stars were a Grammy-nominated movie-star pop prodigy, a sexy Super Bowl performer, a guy on a drug he named after himself, a diva who came out of an egg, and a "mean girl" you know very well. See the full list after the jump.

Without further ado, our top celebrities of February 2011:

  1. Justin Bieber: Bieber did the unthinkable in February -- he cut his hair. But Justin did give Ellen Degeneres (who has an oddly similar haircut) his chopped locks to auction off for charity. And queue the 'awww' track. Biebs lost the Best New Artist Grammy moderately gracefully. Now, in the young days of March, he's turned 17 and launched into his angsty teen years, flipping off photographers as he headed home after his b-day dinner. This after Justin and Selena Gomez hit a post-Oscar party red carpet as a couple -- in coordinating ensembles.
  2. Charlie Sheen: Yes, even before March became Official Charlie Sheen Winning Month, his antics were the second-hottest celebrity aspect of February.
  3. Fergie: What's one word to describe Fergie's half-time Super Bowl performance with the Black Eyed Peas? FAIL. The songstress couldn't seem to get on pitch throughout the show in which sounds system and stage lighting technical difficulties also knocked the performance down quite a few notches. The Peas, who are known for breaking it down (usually in a good way) in concert should put their solo acts on hold and spend some time rehearsing.
  4. Lady Gaga: How does Gaga stay in such tip-top monster shape? Whiskey and yoga, of course. Gaga divulged her secrets to staying slim after wearing a condom-inspired outfit on Good Morning America. Gaga made prophylactics fashionable while talking about safe sex on the show. This on the heels of incubating in an egg for hours before her Grammy performance.
  5. Lindsay Lohan: LiLo found herself facing off against the law yet again after allegedly swiping an expensive necklace. If convicted Lindsay, could spend up to three years in jail.

Lady Gaga Makes Her Catwalk Debut in Latex and Sky-High Heels

Lady Gaga Makes Her Catwalk Debut in Latex and Sky-High Heels

Despite how you might feel about Lady GaGa's style or music, after seeing her walk down the Mugler runway like a pro, it'd be hard to doubt her mastery of sky-high heels.

Courtesy of a live stream on the Mugler Facebook page, hundreds of thousands of fans across the globe had access to Nicola Formichetti's debut womenswear collection for the Parisian design house, which had its heyday in the '80s and '90s.

Before the show, fans got a behind-the-scenes look at the presentation, including Gaga practicing her runway walk backstage.

"I want people to see me walk and say, 'She's a Mugler woman.' That's what I want them to say," the pop star told her handlers and Formichetti, who is also her stylist, on the feed.

Another time, a clearly nervous Gaga, clad in knee-length platinum-blond pigtails, says, "If I vomit on stage, it'd be good press."
Once the show started, however, Gaga looked to put her nerves behind her.

She first appeared in dramatic Fashion (would you expect anything less?) by smoking a Cigarette at the end of the runway.

Then shimmied up and down the Catwalk in two different ensembles. The first was a sheer black top over a skimpy black bodice paired with a long and semi-see-through black Latex skirt and a flat graduation-style cap.

She twisted and turned her hips and took the runway with such speed that it was almost as if she was wearing sneakers, not the 5-inch-plus platform heels that posed a problem for at least two models who stumbled and had to hold on to arches lining the cathedral-like runway to regain their balance.

Gaga's second ensemble, which closed the show, was a nude corset top worn underneath a sheer white turtleneck and with a skintight long white skirt, again paired with a wide hat and a long piece of fluid fabric that she dramatically whipped off and twirled around her body.

At another time, to the beat of her own hit "Born This Way," which played twice during the show alongside her new track "Government Hooker," she looped her fabric around one of the arches and did some Dirty Dancing.

Never one to shy away from Controversy, before hitting the stage for a third time to help Formichetti take a bow, Gaga took her end-of-runway pose and touched her crotch

Justin Bieber's "Baby" Music Video Review

Justin Bieber's "Baby" Music Video Review

"Baby" is a song by Canadian recording artist Justin Bieber. It was released as the lead single from the latter half of Bieber's debut album, "My World 2.0". The track was written by Bieber with Christopher "Tricky" Stewart and Terius "The-Dream" Nash who worked with Bieber on "One Time" and also by R&B singer Christina Milian and labelmate, rapper Ludacris, who lends his vocal on the hook. You can check out the Baby Lyrics here.

The video follows the young pop star as he tries to impress his love interest played by Jasmine Villegas. "It starts off, I really like this girl, but we didn't [get] along; we couldn't be together," Bieber said. "Basically I want her back and [I'm] kind of going through the whole thing. I'm chasing her around, trying to get her, and she's kind of playing hard to get, but I'm persistent. I keep going."

Filming for the music video began during the week of January 25, 2010, in Los Angeles during the week of the 52nd Grammy Awards, at which Bieber presented with Kesha. It was filmed at Universal CityWalk by director Ray Kay, who had previously directed videos for Beyoncé Knowles, Lady Gaga, and Alexandra Burke, among others.

The video features several cameos such as Young Money artists Canadian rapper Drake, and Lil Twist alongside Tinashe Kachingwe and jerkin' crew, The Rangers. The video takes place in a mall-like setting with a bowling alley, but there are also scenes of Bieber in other settings, hanging out with Luda, doing the moonwalk, messing with his hair and mugging for the camera. Regardless of his lady's apparent frustration with him, Bieber eventually wins her over. The video concludes with the pair walking off into the night holding hands.

Justin previously said that the video is inspired by Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel". "We're kind of going off of Michael Jackson's 'The Way You make Me Feel' where he's trying to get the girl's attention and following her around," he said.

The plot line for Escaping the Game seems right up Lindsay's alley. "It's about celebs who become very famous and can't take it," Folks explains. Several fake their own deaths and create a new life for themselves on a remote island. Lohan's role would be as an investigator who is hired to get to the bottom of their disappearances.

Rihanna's 'S&M' Video Based on a Stolen Concept?

Rihanna's 'S&M' Video Based on a Stolen Concept?

Fresh from dealing with all the negative press that 'S&M' attracted due to the nature of its lyrics and video, Rihanna could now have another controversy to deal with. According to an unnamed source, a German photographer has come forward to claim.

Fresh from dealing with all the negative press that 'S&M' attracted due to the nature of its lyrics and video, Rihanna could now have another controversy to deal with.

According to an unnamed source, a German photographer has come forward to claim that the idea behind the 'S&M' music video was partially copied from his fashion editorial called 'PAPERWORLD.' The nineteen year old photographer named Philip Paulus, claims that he shot the editorial in August 2010, and TEAM-Rihanna has completely copied his idea in one of the 'S&M' scenes, with no respect to the copyright laws.

The anonymous source told KOvideo News team that the photographer is not just words either, as he has the material which could prove that the 'S&M' set, in which Rihanna is taped behind a plastic sheet in front of the reporters, is actually his creation and not of RiRi's music director Melina Matsoukas.

The latest event is one of many mini bumps that S&M has to endure since its January 21 release. Apart from being banned from daytime play on British radio stations, the song was renamed 'Come On' in the UK without the Barbadian's assent, which seemed to anger her a lot.

This is not the first plagiarism accusation made against S&M, as soon after its release, critics noted a lot of striking similarities between its visual content and fine art photographer David LaChapelle's Vogue Italia projects.

A backstage video of Paulus' fashion editorial, shot and posted on Vimeo.com over seven months ago, adds a lot of legitimacy to his claims.

Check out the 'behind the scenes' video of Paulus' fashion project below and be the judge yourself!.

suga daddy music video, enjoy

"Suga Daddy" is the first single from RnB newcomer, Wish fresh from her debut album "Strip Down" out on Jive Records.

The music video was directed by Max Milli and features rapper LANO. WISH is seen enjoying life around her 'suga daddy', in the VHS camera effect, with a touch of sepia video, that evokes some golden age the actors were part of.

Anyway, a pretty solid debut song, with a very good video worth watching. Enjoy

Jena Malone A Stripper For Dirty Vegas In “Electric Love” and Chromeo ft Elly Jackson - Hot Mess (Official Video):

Jena Malone is one of those actresses I love but feel I never see enough of. Here, the “Donnie Darko” and “Into the Wild” star plays a stripper in a music video for Dirty Vegas’ “Electric Love.” The story line isn’t altogether clear (are they ever?), but one man seems to find Malone the object of his strange desire, whether she’s a stripper working the pole or a cowgirl doing the two-step. Note to guys: What this dude does to himself at the end, you really, really shouldn’t try at home
