VIDEO ACTIVISM WORKSHOP

Introduction

In our workshop together with your children we are making a short movie. We do as much as possible to change for better the way how people live in this world.Together we will discuss serious issues that not only affect us but affect animals and affect our beautiful Planet called Mother Earth.

Main aim and purpose of giving this workshop is for children to have an understanding of issues such as-

Video Activism
Climate change
Environmental friendly choice
Educating others.

The workshop could be done in different location,occasions,circumstances,language or time. We provide equipment and care. Here is a list of the topics that we may cover:

What is Video Activism?
Why is Video Activism important during these times?
How do I use a video camera?
Watch video or film clips
Role-playing
Read-arounds
Creating Scenarios
Creating projects
Question and Answer sessions

At the end of the workshop children should have basic knowledge about video activism,using the camcorder,climate change etc. The children will work together in small groups to solve or demonstrate a problem. And together we will make a film which will help to change the world for better ( Hopefully)

This workshop was(is) about climate change but we can do about any other important topic like human and animal rights, freedom, tolerance, organic, vege, fair trade food, peace, refugees issue, use of alcohol etc.etc.
